Graham -- I did not mean to say that it was a "not-quite-so-good night", and MK didn' t seem tired at all. He sounded great, and everything about the show was top-notch. I just would have liked him to wail a little bit more, see?

But then you saw him soloing over the top... reminds me of the many Dead shows I've seen: Sometimes Jerry Garcia couldn't get out of the starting gate, sometimes he soloed right on through the intermission (;-) and a few times it was just perfect.

Speasking of the most tasteful guitarists ever: Have you heard of Steve Kimock? Brilliant and well worth checking out, he plays with Weather Report's bassist Alphonso Johnson and genius drummer Rodney Holmes, among others.
