Speaking of movies that are hard to find,(Song of the South) I've always wanted to get a DVD of Dead Of Night. I have it on video (Which took an enormous amount of searching and the dilligence of a friend of mine who ran a video store.) I saw the movie in the 60's in a small art theater on the lower East Side in New York City... it was the first time it had been shown in this country in twenty years or more. I think that it's a great, classic movie, and don't know what the legal problems were that made it so innacessible. I don't think that videos are even available any more.

Is this considered a classic film in England?

I also have a video of Whistle Down The Wind (equally unavailable,) and wait for the day they put The Innocents with Deborah Kerr out on DVD.

Hey, they finally put Bad Day At Black Rock out on DVD after a wait of many years.

But, enough drifting... anyone remember Dead Of Night? Is it available in England?
