What a beaut version of 'Cruel Mother' this is. I included it in a presentation once for the Oz national festival that was given the flick (Oz for rejected).

Anyhow, the first missing word is 'houked' from 'houk' meaning 'to dig'. The second is 'sabilline' = 'sable'.

I trust your ballad project is going well. You must have hundreds by now.
