Sins, I don't know you or your history with Thomas, but I'm moved that you cared so much about him. All will be well. The fact that these sort of griefs are never really cured is not a bad thing. Pain you carry in your heart because you did the right thing and cared for a person despite the risk is what makes you who you are in the long run.
