I'm back! Amos, you forgot "peripatetic."

Looks like I'm going to have to pull out the old Halicrafter and check out the vacuum tubes to contribute to this latest topic.

There are also a few items to catch up on. Looks like kibby F-5 is up to speed. It won't hurt the MOM to visit with Dave Barry on occasion. :) I would also like to call your attention to the Pulitzer laureate Horsey on the west coast.

Last full day in NYC we were walking down the west side of Manhattan in the park there. Spotted a great water park for tots, then a few blocks later, spotted a dog park, and got a great idea. They had a couple of wading pools set up, and the dogs were finding all sorts of reasons to take their tennis balls into the pools to cool off. An "aha! moment" occured. First thing when I got home yesterday, I hauled out the wading pool and filled it a few inches. Put the dog in, told her to sit, then to lie down. She started to roll over and caught on real quick. This morning she's leaping around the yard, chasing plastic balls, and leaping in and out of the pool. It's supposed to be 101 today.
