I assume that this thread was inspired by the recent release of "SCTV Network" (or is it "SCTV Channel"?) on DVD.

I recently rented the first disc of the series from Netflix, and was surprised NOT to find myself rolling on the floor laughing at the McKenzie Brothers episodes. Seems like it was a lot funnier the first time around; viewing it again so many years later, with excessively high expectations I suppose, was a bit of a letdown.

I mean, I enjoyed watching, if only as a taste of nostalgia, but the experience was a little less ovewhelming that I had hoped it would be.
