I saw Hedy West as A teenager at the Philharmonic Hall In Liverpool In the 60's and was so moved by her and the so obvious fact that the US and Brtain share so many musical roots. I moved to the east Coast as a teenager and honestly didn't think of her very much or her music but one day working at a book store outside of Princeton NJ I saw she had placed an order and was so happy and moved to meet her. She was modest and happy to know of my connection to her music . Its so sad to hear of her passing andyet I will find her music n ow. Thanks for your life Heddy - you are a genuine gift to America I'm proud to know of you.Its epople like you that make America a fine place.
