Enjoy the wine (as I know you will) have a Chablis or a Marsannay or even a Gevry-Chambertin for me, I Do not Know what to recommend for Alsace, Foodwise Choucroute (the local Sauerkraut) is good the way they do it there with smoked bacon knuckles cooked in it, there was also some kind of pear tart MMMMMMmmmmm! winewise, who knows, I suppose you Have to try the Gewurztraminer, but it is NOT to everyones taste (its one of the few wines I ever found to drink with STRONGLY spiced food like curry!!!)
