You may indeed remind me but perhaps I can remind you that this is a thread about cricket and England even had a Scotch captain once.
As a resident in Scotland for twelve years I do not need reminding that (some) folk in Scotland do not like to be referred to as Scotch.*Smiles*
And I have (in the earlier thread) made the point that many English people do indeed support the sporting endeavours of the Scotch and Welsh.
I think that had Australia won - Warnes contribution to that victory would have made him man of the match. As England won - it was Flintoff's individual contribution to that victory that deserves to makes him the man of the match. Without his 73 and those sixes - there would have been no match.
Nice to see him console Bret Lee at the end. That probably sealed it
