To let South Yorkshire folkies know of the imminent appearance of Mick Ryan and Pete Harris at Kiveton Park Folk Club on Tuesday 16th August.
Mick and Pete are widely accepted as one of the best and most talented musical pairings on the folk scene today. Mick performs lead vocals and is a great traditional singer. He's excellently accompanied, on a variety of instruments by Pete, who also provides subtle vocal harmony. There'll be a mix of trad. stuff, with original material from Mick, who has penned of a number of great songs and is author/co-author of two popular folk musicals 'A Tolpuddle Man' and 'The Voyage'. So, should be a great night, all are welcome, free tea and coffee for the non-imbibers, free grub in the beer (or coffee) break, a cheap bar and some of the nicest folk you'll meet anywhere.
