And now I'm also wondering about the thread that birthed this one...
In European terms, what does the current Mudcat thread "Are Muslim Rubbish?" mean?

I was quick to criticise the wording of that title because I thought it asked "Are all Muslims [so bad that they should be considered] rubbish?"

Or to put it another way, I thought the title asked "Are [all] Muslims [so worthless that they should be treated like] rubbish?..

But now since I've learned that Europeans have a vernacular phrase "to rubbish someone" I'm not sure if the thread title means the same thing as the American question "Should [all] Muslims be trashed?-meaning "Should we be talking bad about all Muslims?"

These may be the same questions, but I think there are some subtle differences.

I'd appreciate your input, and the input of other European &
non-European posters.
