Well Sista--those black folks with the Scottish accents living in Glasgow simply are NOT African Americans. But if you can't sort out why I would say such a laughable thing, then you need to open your mind so you can recognize your own ignorance of the constructs of race, racialized identity, and the contested use of language associated with those constructs.

There aren't any African Americans in Britain Azizi, because British citizens aren't American. The contested language most often used in the racial discourses in other parts of the world doesn't match the contested language in the US.
