What you say about raccoons ability to climb but not jump rings true. I'd enjoy outsmarting them with some kind of platform and tunnel system. I'm sure our catsd would catch on fast but it would also be an excuse for them to howl at the regular porch door.

Too bad there were not a "guest" or two around so there would be someone to catch the raccoons and attach special collars to them.
