Just a bit of general insight about this subject. There is easy access
to almost all the previous generation's recordings. People like Leadbelly, Blind Blake, Lemon Jefferson, Willy McTell, Woody Guthrie
and the list goes on and on. The later people are great entertainers or singers or whatever, but, if you're going to PERFORM these things
there is nothing quite like the original source. I know the words are
sometimes hard to understand, it was hard for the younger generation too and YOU might be able to pick up on something the rest of them
didn't get right. Think about it.
