After months of discussion and procrastination, my wife Peggy has begun selling off pieces of her huge collection of antique fabric, via EBay. We're also unloading a few random knick-knacks and assorted junk, er, I mean treasures.

I'm getting into this in the role of photographer. Looks like this might be fun and maybe even marginally profitable!

As first-timers, and at the advice of Peggy's sister (a veteran EBay seller) we selected the "US shipping only" option just to keep things simple. However, if someone from overseas really wants something and chooses to bid, we can work out the shipping, so please don't hesitate.

There will be plenty more fabric to come over the next weeks and months, including some much larger pieces (bolts of significant yardage). Also, I plan to put my collection of vintage neckties up for bid soon.

(Will I really abandon Mudcat? No way ~ but I might change my homepage designation. Not only am I developing a new compulsion to check for EBay bids first thing when I boot up, I also figure it'll be practical to have a homepage that's pretty much always operational. But I'm sure that I will continue to waste way too much time here at the ol' MC.)
