I'd misread your posting and hadn't realised that you had corrected the first posting, hence my confusion. Re-reading and singing it through I think you've missed out one of the letters: "E - I'm near the end" (or equivalent). Or am I still confused.

Now I know what that old song by The Rivingtons is about: "Bird's the word....the bird's the word...."
