I cannot find it now, but I'm sure someone mentioned the Shambles' music licence position, and as I didn't see the end of the matter in the Whitby Gazette I popped in yesterday to check:

Unfortunately the boss wasn't there to give a definitive reply, but the staff expected to be without music next week, so it does not look good.
