Well, hell, I dunno. Hockey isn't real big in a state which is mostly vertical. They tried it here once, only everyone kept sliding to the downhill end. Caused no end of fights and two of the guys had to get married afterwards. Then they tried it using seat belts, only that didn't work at all.

Of course, a good chunk of Idaho is "high desert" country, and they were playing on rocks instead of ice. That could have had a lot to do with the confusion about the puck, too.

Anyway, we do rodeo out here. Lots of cowboys and cowgals from around the US come, and REAL men and women from Canada join them and compete against them -- and sometimes win, too. Them guys on ice skates, triple-axeling and pas-de-dooing around the ice, couldn't begin to cut it on the back of a bronc or a bull when they pull the plug and the eight seconds starts.
