Although I am a quiet haunter of the Tavern, I am faithful to its stained countertops (the walls are something else). There have been a blizzard of Tavernas, Cantinas, Schooners, and what not, but perhaps a return to the old stamping ground is needed for a post-Xmas, mid-Boxing Week, pre-post Millenium small drink. LEJ? bbc? Anyone for a pint?
