You're following some interesting threads, maybe contributing to them, maybe just reading what other people are posting. And then the Cat goes down.

And when it comes back up, the threads have gone, because of the time lapse. And you can't remember which threads they were perhaps. I get the feeling that quite often this kills off threads before they deserve to die, because out of sight means out of mind.

There's a simple way round that, and I've started doing it. Just reset the Refresh Filter to three days as soon as the Cat comes back.
