I went looking for alternatives to the mass of race consciousness which is working hard to create disasters and ends of the world etc., through their beliefs come New Year's Eve.I was specifically looking for a copy of the Great Invocation to post here, so that those of us who can and want to, may focus on it at the turn of the year, thus combining our positive energies to combat those of the ones expecting doom. I have pasted it below.
I also found some good sites for New Year's Eve Peacefull activities, including a online appearance of the Dalai Lama with his Millennium message for the world; a candlelight vigil for the Earth, etc. They are at:
World Peace and,
I believe a thought and prayer which is positive in nature can be a hundred times more powerful than anything negative which gets put out there. Negative or positive, I also believe our thoughts and prayers come back to us, so by joining together in positive thoughts for Peace on Earth, we are helping ourselves, as well as everyone and thing on the planet. Thanks, Mudders, please join in if you can. kat
The Great Invocation
From the point of light within the Mind of God (or, Good)
Let light stream forth into the minds of men (or, all).
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God (or, Good)
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men (or, all.)
May Christ (or, Love and Light) return to Earth.
From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men (or, all)---
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the centre which we call the race of men (or, all/humankind)
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out.
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power
restore the Plan on Earth.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Taken from Ponder on This, a compilation of the writings of Alice A. Bailey and The Tibetian Master, Djwhal Khul)
This invocation was first given out in 1945 as an aid in bringing about certain great events. These are:
1. An outpouring of love and light upon mankind, from Shamballa.
2. An invocatory appeal to the Christ, the Head of the Hierarchy, to reappear.
3. The establishing on earth of the divine Plan, to be accomplished willingly by humanity itself.
