Tradsinger's suggestion seems reasonable. With the present muddle and differences between U. S., UK copyright and so-called 'international' rights, some responsible group must clear a way through the briers.
Is there a similar group to deal with the matter in the U. S.?

I can read the statutes, and understand most of them, but it is the particular case and the practical effect that confuse and worry many of us.
