Hi all - thanks for the kind words - we had a good 'un (after a nervous start!) I believe.
No we weren't recorded earlier, my friend, we played absolutely live in the studio - big thanks to Dave Crickmore for mixing the sound.
The three hosts were a bit comical weren't they!

Tyke, I fondly remember the old Henry Ayrton folk prog that was sadly dropped last year - posted my distaste and disapproval of that occurance at the time, right here on Mudcat in fact.
Don't be too disparaging of the latest efforts my friend.
That's about the fourth three hour folk and roots 'holiday special' these boys have been allowed to put out on air - and if their popularity were to increase, ie folk were to write in to the Beeb in Leeds and voice huge amounts of support, who knows? They might reinstate more regular coverage. Let's hope these 'specials' DO have that effect.

Eric Half Bee? (there's been a real 'bee' theme on here hasn't there!?) The camera work at Sidmouth came out amazingly well and I've witnessed the completion of a souvenir (sp?) DVD this week.
As we don't do all this to make money particularly, we'll likely run 'em off (to order) at a nominal amount of 5 or 6 pounds!!! Yep!
So keep an eye on www.duncanmcfarlane.co.uk for an announcement on that, soonish. (And I'm not even blurred despite my sprinting about on stage! Never had so much room and I've now discovered how out of condition I am!)

Finally, it IS streamed all this week and is worth a listen if you missed it (I assure you I don't mean 'just' for us. There was some fine music played....
Mr Thompson of course and Robin Dransfield, mmmmmmm
Even though the hosting 'D'Urdevilles play a higher percentage of, er, americana-flavoured material than is my particular taste, I tapped a foot and grooved along for the whole show.
Byeeeee - HFA (that's with an F Rhyzla me boy!) Cheers! - Duncan
