This was written while walking to the B.B.C. club for last month's folk night. By the time I got there I had the basis of the words for 2½ verses, and after writing them down the rest came over the course of the evening.
Since then I've been waiting for a chance to type them in.
I hope my words weren't the jinx which has been keeping me from prolonged usage of the 'cat in the meantime!

Then, as I typed a short refrain,
