Rather than sing in gender sing what ever fits your voice & style. Do raunchy shanties, rowdy pub sing alongs, do disgusting drinking songs do what ever you want but do it well. I've sung with Bonnie (Liam's sister in law) & others of the Johnson Girls & the New York Packet(as mentioned by Jeri, above) & I'd rather have them pushing a packet than some no count yellow mealy male. Some of them are a few that can really raise a good axe song too, not an easy turn for anyone. Raise hell Timbrel, best of luck, Barry
