But I can't help but wonder if the same situation occurred on LI and thousands of blond haired blue eyed long legged ladies with big hair were trapped in Nassau Coliseum, how long would it take for help to arrive or at least food and water to be dropped to them?

And from a different perspective - with all the money spent on preparing for a nuclear (nucular, if you must) terrorist attack on a major city, is this the response time we can expect?
