What's so difficult about keeping within the speed limit?

The really stupid thing is having speed cameras painted yellow, so people can know where they are, and can race along, then slam on the brakes to go past the cameras, and then speed up once they are past. That's dangerous.

Concealed cameras, and mobile cameras as well to supplement them (for example a couple of hundred yards after a fixed camera); and speed limits a lot better indicated than they often are. And speed limits a lot lower in some places. That's what I'd like to see.

And if people drive over the limit and have to pay a fine, that's at least some compensation. But of course it'd be better people drove sensibly in the first place, and the income from fines went down to zero.
