I watch nothing on my satellite but the different discovery channels and some news.I find that there is nothing else that has any real importance to me.The old song 57 channels and nothing on is so true.
My favorite channel is the Science Channel.Not long ago they had a program on about chasing down our genes.They traced the Y Chromazones of different populations.They did not give all the detail about how they did it all becuase of time constraints but they did give enough information for me to believe that a good job was done and proper scientific protocol was followed.
Among the things they discovered was that Thomas Jefferson whom everyone has and had presumed was of European dissent actually had come from an area we now call Syria and Lebanon.Another thing they found out was that the Y chromazones of Gengis Kahn was responsible for around 10 million persons.All the tracing led to finding that there was one mans Y chromazones that we all have in common and that that person now called Scientifc Adam cam out of Southern Africa.I wonder which part of a persons body someone who hates another race they will be cutting off of themselves to get rid of what they hate.
We all have a lot more in common than we have actual differences.We need to search for those commonalities note the differences and celebrate them then try to do something worthwhile that will benifit all.mississippitom
