Al, nice seeing you again - caught the second song you did and from the look on the faces of the audience, the laughter and the applause (plus latter comments made) it more than made up for any earlier mistuning!

Enjoyed the sets I was involved in and looking at the set list from the three "local bands" I was playing with I must apologise to John Lancs as at least 8 of the 70+ songs we sang over the 3 days were performed last year as well, by way of an excuse 4 were requested.

Only one complaint, why oh why can't you get a glass of tap water in the Wyre Lounge? Excuses given, "It's not fit for consumption due the the mains burst", "we're not allowed to", "we sell bottled water, not give tap water away". Many of the Morris team members, who had been dancing in the sun should have had the availability of water, and although it might be traditional for them to rely on beer to top up their liquid intake not all do. Any chance of water dispensers next year? May I add that the Euston, Steamer and Victoria (not sure of any of the others)had no problem supply water & Ice to anyone who requested it.

Other than that small "whinge" a great (but very tiring)time was had by all.
