Trying to find the "On the lake of Pontchartrain", I think it is by Trapezoid- i heard the vinyl version in 1981- made a poor casette recording of it- and this song has been haunting me for 24 years.
I just started to research it August 25th, and found out that it is not an irish song, but perhaps an American folk song from Louisina- then a few days later the New Orleans was hit by Katrina and devasted...
