The USA shares complicity IN the deaths of the 1.1 million who died in the Iran-Iraq war. It was America's indirect revenge attack on Iran for the hostage crisis of the late 70's. Saddam was the USA's triggerman in the Middle East at that time. The intention of that war was to completely defeat and occupy Iran and destroy its Islamic government. That intention met bloody failure.
