Countersink only relates to screws? Huh? While you can drill a hole to accept a countersunk screw, you can also buy at least 5 different size punches to countersink a nail or use a nail as a countersink in a pinch, if you are careful. Obviously I have nothing to add to this thread except a bit of pedantry.
