I guess it's up to people like us to spread the word of Steve in forums such as this and to people in our community. He certainly does deserve more praise and recognition. All said, considering the record industry these days, they certainly do not reflect 'good talent'. Good point on whether he did make a forune back then. I am aware he had his disagreements with the 'record company', and it is quite possible they did rip him off (which they did to so many others) in the long run.

Skipjack ... I think the cananization of Sir JOhn would be appropriate and well deserving. Hull would most certainly benefit from having their very own Pope or Perp.
