Nice one Mick.
One of the most enduring memories of my late father, who was never really a man for outward shows of emotion, was how, when looking after some of my sisters' and brothers' kids, he would sooth the crying child by waltzing around the room with the child gently in his arms while singing a few verses of that song.
Aranmór I spent quite a lot of time in as a teenager. Gaoith Domháir, Rann na Féirste and Aranmór was where I learned the Irish language, and the place has quite a place in my heart.Happy 2K all. Breandán.
