tannywheeler...that's a good address on Georgia Avenue! not far south of the local "folk ghetto" ( five min?), and not very far from me! (20 min?) I'm sure that, between us, we'll get you there and back easily! *smile*...The tourist part is just a matter of busses, walking and maybe a taxi once...depends.

going by Amtrak makes it easy to get you back home, as the subway goes from near that Georgia Ave. area right to the station, and if you need overnight lodging that Mon. night, there are probably 5-6 good possibilities, not all of whom read Mudcat, but are still generous folks, despite their cultural deprivation...*grin*
