Happy New Year Rocky Mountain Folkies!!!!! I don't usually sit down and watch the telly, however, last night was so unusual. I was totally unimpressed by NYC's fete, however, I was impressed by the doins in D.C. I particularly enjoyed the "show" on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with various and sundry noteables recited passages.

I'm a liberal, for gun control, and for social programs, however, I am also a staunch patriot with a great love for our flag and the history of how our country began. The scene at the Lincoln Memorial gave me chills.

This is simply my personal feelings. Let's not take up time debating where I should feel this way ... moonchild
