I had a broken link for months when you slipped a 1 into the address.

If you spent a few bob on uk2.net (eg etc) and had a domain name with redirection then all you have to do is choose a reliable DNS (domain name server). It works for me more than 99%. If Waitrose ever lose the plot I still have the memorable URL to fall back on.
