just to clarify...it is the FSGW (Folklore Society of Greater Washington) annual Getaway...our private party at a camp, which we have always shared with good friends for over 30 years now. (Dick Greenhaus has been coming longer than I have) Since Mudcat Central is near, and since a number of the 'regulars' at the Getaway also frequent Mudcat, it just naturally happened that other Mudcatters(including Max) were curious and gradually joined the party....Seems like it has worked out pretty well for everyone! *grin*

We have a number of local FSGW members who wouldn't be caught dead near a computer and barely know what Mudcat is.....but they seem to adapt pretty well to all these new faces...once the face opens up and songs pour out.
