There is always the problem of the 'Pet Owner' who is totally opposed to the idea of any kind of Animal welfare . There was a report in the Torygraph at the weekend of a pair of Pit Bulls who were attacking a solitary Bull near New Orleans , complete with pictures . The guy who took the photos was alone and unarmed , so could do nothing , until an army patrol turned up . BOTH dogs were shot , and an army spokesman expressed concern about the possibilty of packs of dogs becoming a danger to life in the area .
