Oh, I was aware you had the tune and lyrics for Grand Hotel ... I just didn't see that anyone had made an overt connection between the two songs. It's rather interesting to speculate on how a nostalgic Scottish poem might have spawned a rowdy West Coast lumberjack ditty, no?
