Sounds great. I was out in NM in 1980 and I still remember what seemed like flocks of hummingbirds.   Brilliant blue skies. Shadows on the mesas toward dusk. It was no problem to get up at 4:30. Can't explain it---getting up early is an unnatural act for me.

I suppose water might be a problem---"Shadows sway and seem to say tonight we'll pray for water".

But it sure was spectacular.
