Does this truly surprise you? (blinks innocently) After all, they don't use the traditional story lines they rip off... which were at least a hundred % better in the folk tales and fairy stories! I wonder if they would have had to pay Hans Christian Andersen's estate if they'd kept to his original concept and let the Little Mermaid die?   

Oh, sorry, don't want to 'creep' this into an anti-Disney thread! (quickly gets down and tugs her soapbox off into a quiet corner...)
