Myself and a few volunteers from the former Borderline Coffee House are attempting to bring folk music in a non-profit venue back to Rockland County, N.Y. where I live. Our first venture will be on Saturday night November 19th and will feature Geoff Kaufman from Mystic Seaport. A doctor friend of ours has offered his rather large house for the venue and I am personally putting up the guarantee money for the performer. I hope that this will be the first of many more folk concerts that we can promote in this area. Knowing the type of performance that Geoff gives, I can personally guarantee an enjoyable evening for all.
