Bridgnorth was a huge success this year but a few local residents continued to complain about festival noise while the local traders and councils didn't give the festival much support.

A better offer has come along from a more welcoming council in Shrewsbury so the festival is off down the road.

If somewhere not a million miles from Sidmouth offered practical and funding support if the Sidmouth Folk Week were to move, would the organisers stay loyal to a town that shows half-hearted support for the Folk Week or move to a better venue elsewhere?
