I realise I may have sounded critical about Greek drivers. I have to say that after the rain we found all but one of the local drivers slowed down to avoid splashing pedestrians with the standing water. One who didn't was roundly cursed, verbally and with hand signals by Herself and a Greek lady who also suffered!
