The thing is, Tam, the internet is a bit different from real life. When we voice an opinion here, we know a whole bunch of people are going to read it, and most of the time we are directing what we say at everybody, not just one person.

It's a good thing to keep in mind when you feel as if someone is having a go at you - to try not to take what people say here personally. I find that if someone has got under my skin, the best thing to do is to step away from the computer and do something else for a while.

I like to remember what a wise woman said once:

"What other people think of me is none of my business."
