And now what the chimneysweep told me this week: The chimney of my old house is in bad condition and has to be repaired (partly torn down and brought up again) next week and equipped with new stand and steps before the chimneysweep might fall down.
Reading the calculation I nearly lost my hair. My meagre savings for Cork will literally go up the chimney, and I'm almost sure I won't make it next year.
