Apologies don't mean all that much. The police apologised after killing Jean Charles de Menzes. They gave Wolfgang a standing ovation when he was allowed back into the conference the next day. But the same people had sat on their hands and allowed the heavies a free hand on the previous day, as they dragged him out of his seat, and manhandled the only delegate who seems to have objected to what they were doing.

Maybe if Wolfgang starts up with the Red Flag on the last day of the conference some of the chickens in the conference hall might find the nerve to join in.
