Just found this thread. I am stateside and heard of Tony Rose when I purchased a pair of his LPs on Leader"Trailer label from Bill Leader when I was ordering the early LPs of the High Level Ranters in the early to mid-1970s. (Boy, that dates me, doesn't it !) Tony's LPs were amazingly good. What a voice and presence ! I hope who ever is in charge here or reads this message can keep me abreast of the possible release of any Rose cds in the future.
Also, can anyone send me a formal obit for Tony? I only heard of his death from a member of the vocal group Artisan when they sang in my area some 9 months ago. Did Tony ever perform in the US ?
    Would like copies of any of his LPs, but prefer to buy legit copies when they come out. I just ordered "Under the Greenwood Tree" on cd. Maybe more will come out later.
