I bought a Larrivee a couple of years ago and it's the best darned thing I've ever held in my hands. It has a nice, mellow tone, easy action, and the equal response on both high and low strings. I tied out a similar model of the Taylor guitar. The only difference that I found was that the Larrivee was about $400.00 cheaper.
